Otherwise, the room was perfect, with plenty of pillows to sleep with, really comfortable to lie down and catch a few snoozes in, and the bathroom was really amazing, I enjoyed the cleanliness and how colorful the wall design was, and having some soaps and body lotion provided, amazing! I was able to enjoy the breakfast the hotel provides, may not be 5 Stars, but it was delicious and had all the fixings to provide the boost needed in the AM.Knoxville – McGhee Tyson Airport first opened in October of 1925 as the Knoxville Municipal Airport. I was able to fully enjoy the 2 nights that I stayed at this hotel. I went to this hotel specifically because I needed somewhere nearby when I did my excursions to the Great Smoky Mountains and visit a few friends nearby.
